Updating Your Nameservers to Point to SiteHosts

A guide on how to link your domain name to your SiteHosts account by updating your nameservers.

What are Nameservers?

Nameservers tell the internet where to find your website. If you bought your domain from a separate provider (like GoDaddy, 123Reg, or Namecheap) but hosted it with us, you must update these settings to make your website load.

Our Nameservers

Please copy and paste these exact addresses into your domain registrar's settings. You should add all four for maximum reliability:

  • Primary: in.solidhosting.pro

  • Secondary: eu.solidhosting.pro

  • Third: us.solidhosting.pro

  • Fourth: sg.solidhosting.pro

How to Update Them

The steps are similar for most domain registrars:

  1. Log in to the website where you bought your domain (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap).

  2. Find the DNS or Nameservers management settings for your domain.

  3. Select "Custom Nameservers" (do not use the default ones).

  4. Delete any existing nameservers.

  5. Paste in the four SiteHosts nameservers listed above.

  6. Click Save.

How Long Does it Take?

Once you save these changes, they need to "propagate" across the internet.

  • Typical time: 1 to 4 hours.

  • Maximum time: Up to 24-48 hours.

If your site doesn't load immediately, please wait a few hours and try again.
